General Terms and Conditions of Sale
1- LIXY
Our LIXY jewelry is produced by MF Creative Time Instrument, whose headquarters are located in Solliat, and is made in our workshops located in Le Lieu in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.
We are watchmaking artisans and wish to highlight artistic crafts such as hand guilloché or hand engraving as well as local Swiss know-how.

2- LIXY jewelry
Our LIXY jewelry is designed, made and assembled in our workshops in the Vallée de Joux in Switzerland.
We offer a whole range of interchangeable and compatible jewelry which comes (for the moment) in 17 colors of custom-made braided leather bracelets, 12 watch faces and 5 categories of beads in various materials: our hand-engraved or guilloché silver beads; our aluminium beads; our titanium beads; our acrylic beads and very soon our wooden beads.
We also offer silver or leather necklaces with a silver LIXY pendant compatible with all our beads.
Our prices start from CHF 39 for acrylic beads and CHF 125 for the entry-level packs. Prices vary depending on the materials used and the desired finish (e.g., black ceramic coating).
We reserve the right to change our prices without notice.
We ship worldwide. Shipping costs will be recalculated for international shipments based on the shipping method.
We have done our best to display the colors and images of our products as accurately as possible on our website. However, we cannot guarantee that your computer monitor's display of colors will be accurate.
3- Purchase methods
You can make your purchases on our website www.lixy.ch or in our workshops at Lieu or during the fairs, markets or exhibitions in which we may participate as well as at our retailers.
You will receive an order confirmation email as soon as you place your order through our website. The order can be modified within 24 hours free of charge. After that, any changes may be subject to additional charges.
Upon receipt of your payment, your order will be confirmed and put into production in our workshops.
We reserve the right to accept, refuse or exclude any person from our online shops and our application in case of abuse or non-compliance with the terms and conditions mentioned here.
Our delivery times are on average 5 to 15 working days. These times are for informational purposes only and may vary depending on availability, customization requests, etc.
4- Payment terms
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs, net amounts, including VAT and guaranteed.
Items covered by a warranty are subject to the terms of the offer valid at the time of purchase. The warranty takes effect on the date of delivery of the item, as evidenced by the accompanying document (invoice), which we ask you to keep carefully.
The following are not covered: damage due to poor maintenance, failure to follow instructions, or normal wear and tear.
Payment options : We offer various payment methods:
- CREDIT CARD
Credit card payments are made at the time of order directly on the website.
- PAYPAL
Payments via PayPal are made directly on the website at the time of ordering.
All our PayPal and credit card payments are completely secure.
We do not store any information regarding your payment methods and the data transmitted during online payments is fully encrypted using the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol with a high-security encryption certificate.
5- Delivery methods
Availability
Our delivery commitment is void in the event of failure or non-compliance with supply deadlines by our own suppliers, and insofar as this unavailability is not attributable to MF Creative Time Instrument.
In the event that a product is unavailable, we will inform you as soon as possible.
Delivery and transport
Upon receipt of your payment, confirmation of size and any customizations, we will ship your order within 5 to 15 business days.
These delivery times are approximate; no cancellation, price reduction, or compensation can be claimed in the event of a delivery delay.
All these delivery times are subject to stock availability. The customer will be informed of the new delivery time in the event of a stock shortage.
The customer may contact MF Creative Time Instrument for expedited order processing. In this case, MF Creative Time Instrument reserves the right to accept or refuse the request and to charge additional fees.
Shipping costs within Switzerland are CHF 12.- and CHF 25.- for international shipments. All our shipments include a tracking number, which will be provided to you upon dispatch of your order.
Prices are indicative and may vary depending on the shipping method and the recipient's country.
International delivery
The recipient is the registered importer and must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. Orders shipped outside of Switzerland may be subject to import duties, customs fees, and taxes levied by the destination country.
The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the recipient's country.
Additional customs clearance fees must be paid by the recipient; MF Creative Time Instrument has no control over these fees, nor can MF Creative Time Instrument predict what they may be.
The law concerning exports to Europe changed as of July 1, 2021, and VAT now applies to all sales without exception.
The customer is now required to pay the taxes upon receipt, which will be collected by the carrier.
6- The terms and conditions for refunds or exchanges
Items must be returned undamaged, unworn and complete in their original packaging, along with the delivery slip, within 7 days of receiving your package to the following address:

To ensure we can process your return as quickly as possible, please write to us at info@lixy.ch

- your full contact details
- the reason for the return
- and what you would like in exchange when requesting an exchange.
A refund can only be issued within the return period mentioned on the website, provided that the product is in perfect condition, in its original packaging, accompanied by full contact details and proof of purchase and payment.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility. For exchange orders, shipping for your new order is free.
Check the condition of the delivered goods immediately to rule out any obvious material or manufacturing defects, as well as any damage caused during transport. In accordance with the law, you are obligated to notify us of any defects or anomalies affecting the delivered goods so that we can remedy them.
Conditions: This right is applicable only if the goods are returned to us in their original condition and without any signs of use. Otherwise, the aforementioned right of exchange and return is void.
7- Warranty and renovation
All our LIXY jewelry comes with a 2-year warranty, except for watch batteries, which are guaranteed for 1 year (proof of purchase required). After this period, any repairs will be charged.
We do not guarantee against shocks/accidents or any part that has been in contact with water or humidity, nor the use of chemicals or aggressive products on our jewelry, nor any misuse and failure to maintain the jewelry, nor normal wear and tear.

PLEASE NOTE: Cleaning your pearls is free. However, for any repairs to scratches, engravings, or polishing/satin finishes, a quote will be provided.
Possible restoration services depending on the LIXY jewelry:
- 925 SILVER BEADS
All our pearls are guaranteed for 2 years, and a refresher service (cleaning and polishing) is available to restore the shine to your jewelry, with the exception of our hand-guilloché pearls, as the pattern cannot be reproduced on these.
- SILVER-SET BEADS
The setting is guaranteed for 2 years against any manufacturing defects. Breakage, loss of the stone, or cracking are not covered by the guarantee and will be subject to a charge upon repair or replacement.
- ACRYLIC BEADS
Cleaning and polishing

Cleaning, satin finishing, and hand engraving
- TITANIUM BEADS

- WOODEN BEADS
Unfortunately, we cannot intervene on this type of material. Wooden beads should be handled with care. Breakage of a wooden bead is not covered by the warranty, except during the first month after purchase.
An explanation of care instructions and wax are provided with the wooden beads, and can be requested at any time by email at info@lixy.ch.
8- Care & maintenance
Store your jewelry carefully in the case provided at the time of purchase or in any other jewelry box.
Avoid all contact with soaps, perfumes, water (fresh, salt, chlorinated etc.), hydroalcoholic/disinfectant gels, solvents, chemical/household products or any other product likely to damage your jewelry.
Keep them away from sunlight, moisture and heat.
We remind you that our LIXY bracelets are made of leather and it is strongly advised against wearing them in the shower or exposing them to water repeatedly and excessively, in order to avoid premature wear of the leather.
Caring for your LIXY silver beads: Silver is a material that tarnishes. To clean your silver bead, we recommend rubbing it with a soft-bristled brush and whiting (Meudon white).
Caring for your wooden beads: Wood is a precious and living material. It therefore needs regular care and nourishment with beeswax. We recommend waxing it monthly or as soon as you notice your bead is dry. Take a small amount of wax and apply it to your bead with a soft cloth. Remember that wood does not tolerate water.
A maintenance/renovation service is available in our workshops if needed, in order to restore the shine to your LIXY jewelry.
9- The transfer of ownership
MF Creative Time Instrument retains ownership of the products delivered and designated below until full payment of their price and interest.
10- Data protection
All personal data will be treated as confidential. Information necessary for order processing will be processed electronically and may be shared with partner companies for order fulfillment purposes.
11- The rules applicable in case of dispute
Any dispute relating to the interpretation and performance of these general terms and conditions of sale shall be governed by Swiss law. In the absence of an amicable settlement, the dispute shall be brought before the District Court of Broye and North Vaud.
12- Use of discount vouchers or gift cards
Discount vouchers have an expiry date, cannot be purchased, are non-transferable, and cannot be combined with other offers. Furthermore, certain products may be excluded from the benefits of discount vouchers.
A discount voucher cannot be used to purchase gift cards.
A minimum purchase amount may be specified for the use of each discount voucher.
To use a discount voucher, the order value must be at least equal to the discount amount. The difference between the voucher amount and the order price can be paid using any of the available payment methods. The voucher is non-refundable and does not accrue interest. In the event of a full or partial return of merchandise, the portion of the price paid with the discount voucher will not be refunded.
To apply a discount code to an order, you must enter the code before confirming/saving the order. Discount codes cannot be applied to orders that have already been shipped. Unless otherwise specified, it is not possible to combine multiple discount codes.
Gift cards can only be used to purchase items offered on our online shop www.lixy.com or in our workshops; purchasing other gift cards with gift cards is not permitted. You can pay any difference between the gift card amount and the price of your order using any of the available payment methods.
Gift cards do not have an expiry date for their use.
13- Customization
We offer you the possibility to personalize your LIXY beads. It couldn't be simpler: fill out our personalization form on our website and we will send you a quote as soon as possible.
The personalized beads are created and designed by us in collaboration with the client, and the final project will be sent for validation.
Once the personalized LIXY bead has been validated by the customer and production has begun, no exchange or refund is possible on the personalized LIXY beads.
A personalized LIXY bead that needs to be remade will be charged in full without any price reduction.
Manufacturing lead times will be calculated based on the customization project.
All bead designs and projects belong entirely to MF Creative Time Instrument and may not be reused, reproduced or used by the customer or any other person.
